Key point

The decade median of the top five enterers' yearly share is 30% in the 1560s and 24% in the 1630s.

Definition: Herfindahl index of enterer shares each year, and the share of the top five. An entry with several enterers is split among them.
Formula: HHI = Σ (enterer share)²; enterers keyed by the SRO name key
How to read it: Shows what share of each year's entries the top five stationers made.
Caveats: SRO name keys are used as given; a person recorded under two keys lowers the measured concentration.
