Of Goryeosa eclipse observation days, 91% recur in the Jeolyo, but only 32% of Sillok eclipse observation days of 1623–1863 recur in the Ilgi, while 91% of comet keyword days do. Overlap differs by phenomenon; as the two lists differ in selection, survival and type coding, the figure alone does not settle whether one compilation copied the other.

- How to read it
- The Jeolyo abridges the Goryeosa, so eclipses nearly all recur. Sillok and Ilgi overlap little on eclipse observation days and much on comet keyword days. The two lists differ in selection, survival and type coding, so the overlap is not read as evidence for or against copying.
- Caveats
- The Ilgi survives only from Injo, hence the cut to 1623-01-01 – 1863-12-31 (Gregorian); Sillok dates use the 1.0 conversion, Ilgi dates the ganji-corrected conversion.
